Member Splash uses digital guest credits to replace traditional paper guest passes. You can sell them individually or in "books" of credits. You can also allow members to purchase multiple credits or books of credits at the same time. Guest passes or credits are intended as single use passes.
Guest Pass Product
The first example is to build a guest pass product that can be purchased in advance by the account via their Member Portal and awards one guest pass to the account when purchased. Additional product settings can allow the account to choose a quantity during checkout. When purchased in advance, the account can simply redeem the available credits on their account during check-in, speeding up the check-in process.
Navigate to WordPress Menu > Products > Add Product
Name your product and add a description for your members.
Fee Type should be set to Guest Fee. This is a critical step.
Navigate to Flat Rate Pricing and input your price.
Navigate to Guest Pass Options and enter the number of passes per order. For this example, enter 1.
Navigate to Product Options and make any preferred changes:
Show Quantity Option? Check this option to have the product show a quantity option on the front end. Example: Books of Guest Passes (you might want to buy 3 at once)
Maximum Quantity: Choose the maximum quantity a member can select.
Navigate to Show/Hide/Require rules and set accordingly.
Typically, guest passes are available to all members, so this is not always a necessary step.
Publish your product.
When configured correctly, this product will automatically add one guest pass to the account when purchased.
Guest Pass Product - Book of 10
In this example we're going to create a product for a book of 10 guest passes.
Navigate to WordPress Menu > Products > Add Product
Name your product and add a description for your members.
