What are Account Types?
An account type is a designation used to group members based on their selected membership plan. For example, account types such as Bonded Family, Offered Membership or Waitlist will be used to sort members into groups. The Account Type ID just represents the number associated with the Account Type within the database.
What are Member Types?
Member Types are used to identify member roles within an account. For example, members on an account can be designated as Adult, Child, Houseguest or Caregiver. The Member Type ID just represents the number associated with the Member Type within the database.
Where can I find my Account Type ID or Member Type ID?
Login to your website Admin dashboard
Go to Membership > Accounts
Click Settings
Click to open either Manage Account Types or Manage Member Types to see each of the ID numbers listed next to their names.
