Membership: How to create a new Member Type

A member type is a subcategory of Account Type, and labels the type of members in the account.

To create or update a member type, first navigate to the blue Member Splash Menu > Membership > Accounts. Select the gear on the left side of the header.

Select the option for Manage Member Types.

To Edit an existing Member Type, select the three dots next to the Member Type, change the name, then select EDIT to save.

To Add a new Member Type, simply select Add Member Type at the bottom of the screen, type in the name of the new member type and select ADD to save.

NOTE: You cannot delete a member type when members are currently categorized as that member type. You will need to recategorize members first, then delete the the member type using the three dot menu next to the member type.
