Report Overview
The Sales Details report displays individual transaction records with detailed information about each payment, including order information, payment status, dates, methods, and associated customer accounts. The report can be filtered and customized to show exactly the information you need for accounting, reconciliation, or analysis purposes.
Available Filters
The Sales Details report includes five primary filters that help you narrow down transaction data:
1) Date Range
Filter transactions by when they occurred. The date range dropdown includes preset options like Year to Date, Last Month, Last Quarter, and custom date ranges. This is typically your primary filter for financial reporting and reconciliation.
2) Account Type
Filter by the account types configured in your platform.
3) Payment Status
View transactions based on their payment status:
Paid
Unpaid
Pending
Partial
4) Payment Method
Filter by how the payment was made:
ACH
Credit
Check
Cash
Account
Comp
No Charge
5) Fee Type
Filter by the category of fees collected, as configured in your platform.

The Search By field allows you to search for specific transactions using:
Name
Acct #
Legacy Account #
Order #
Applying Filters
To filter your Sales Details report:
Select your desired criteria from any combination of the filter dropdowns
Enter search terms in the Search By field if needed
Click the APPLY button to update the report
Use the RESET button to clear all filters and return to the full report
The report displays the total number of matches (e.g., "MATCHES: 7") and updates in real-time as you apply filters.

The Sales Details report includes the following default columns:

Total
Customizing Displayed Columns
The Sales Details report allows you to customize which columns are displayed and their order. Click the Columns button to access the column configuration panel.
Drag columns between the Active and Inactive lists to add or remove them
Reorder Active Columns by dragging them up or down within the list
Click SAVE to apply your changes
Click CANCEL to discard changes and close the panel
Selecting and Exporting Records
The Sales Details report provides powerful selection and export capabilities to help you work with transaction data outside of Member Splash.
Selecting Records
You can select individual transactions using the checkbox at the left of each row. To select all records on the current page, click the checkbox in the table header. When records are selected, the system displays a confirmation message showing how many records are selected (e.g., "All 7 records on this page selected").
Export Options
Click the EXPORT button to download your filtered results. You have two export format options:
CSV β Comma-separated values file that opens in any spreadsheet application
Excel β Native Microsoft Excel format with formatting preserved
The exported file includes only the columns you have configured as active, making it easy to create customized reports for accounting, board presentations, or financial analysis.
Common Use Cases
Here are some practical ways to use the Sales Details report:
Monthly Reconciliation
Filter by Date Range (Last Month) and Payment Status (Paid) to see all completed transactions for reconciliation with your bank statements. Export to Excel for detailed accounting review.
Outstanding Payments
Filter by Payment Status (Unpaid or Pending) to identify members with outstanding balances. Use the Billing Contact column to quickly see who needs follow-up.
Payment Method Analysis
Filter by Payment Method to analyze how members prefer to pay. This can help you understand transaction fee costs and optimize your payment options.
Fee Category Reporting
Filter by Fee Type to see revenue breakdown by category. For example, filter for "Swim Team Registration" to see all swim team related fees for a specific period.
Account Type Revenue
Filter by Account Type to analyze revenue by membership type. This helps with understanding which membership categories generate the most revenue and can inform pricing decisions.
