Adding CAPTCHA to your forms
Updated over a week ago
Important: Any form that accepts payment should contain a CAPTCHA field. This field prevents bots from creating spam entries on your form and fraudulent charges from being posted to your Authorize.net account. If CAPTCHA has not been enabled on your site, please contact the Support team.

CAPTCHA stands for the Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart. CAPTCHAs are tools you can use to differentiate between real users and automated users, such as bots. (For more information please read https://www.imperva.com/learn/application-security/what-is-captcha/)

See if CAPTCHA is enabled on your site

Member Splash uses this service when our clients become overwhelmed with 'junk' entries to their forms. Typically we see this on "contact us" forms or "wait list" list forms.

To see if your site is already configured for CAPTCHA, Go to your form and try to add CAPTCHA (see instructions Adding CAPTCHA). If you get the message below your site has NOT been configured to use this service. Contact our Support Center and we will configured it for you. Once configured it will work on any form that you add it to.

Adding CAPTCHA

1. Go to the form that needs CAPTCHA added

2. Click on Advanced Fields and find the Captcha field,

3. Drop the CAPTCHA box on the form wherever you would like it.
