An August Only membership lets you sell a membership for the end of the season. This article shows two ways to build it: Flat Rate pricing and Per Member pricing.
Before You Build the Product
Create an account type named August Only (or similar). Go to Settings > Members > Account Types.
Allow August Only accounts to check in. Go to Settings > Front Desk > Check-In Settings and check August Only under the allowed account types.
Note: Change the check-in setting as close to August as possible, or on August 1. If no account types are checked there, all account types are included in check-in search results.
Example 1: Flat Rate Pricing
Step 1: Create the product
Go to Finances > Products and click Add New.
Enter a name and description for the membership.
Set Fee Type to Membership Fee.
In Flat Rate Pricing, enter the Price.

Set Rule Action to Show, since this is an optional product.
Step 3: Add an Account Type rule

Set Field to Offered Membership and August Only.
Set Next Rule Relationship to And. If you are not adding another rule, leave it blank.

The product now shows for Offered Membership or August Only accounts that are Unpaid.

New Value: choose Account Type and set Field Value to August Only.

Click Publish when you want to start selling. The product then becomes available to Offered Membership and August Only accounts.
