Copy the sample below into a new Mailchimp email.
Fill in everything in angle brackets, like your club name, website, and contact email.
Edit the steps to match your club, like whether emergency contacts are required.
Leave the merge tags (*|FNAME|*, *|LNAME|*, *|LOGIN|*) as they are. Mailchimp fills them in from each family's account.
💡 Send it after you change their account type. Move the account to Offered Membership first so the family can pay as soon as they log in. See Auto Waitlist Explained.
Sample letter

Log in
Go to <website> and click Login at the top of the page.
Your username is *|LOGIN|*. Use the password you created on the form. Forgot it? Use the password reset link on the login page.
Check your account
Family members: add anyone who's missing, and make sure each adult has their own email address.
Details: check phone numbers, birthdays, and member types.
Address: use the billing address for your card.
Photos: add a close-up head shot for each person.
Emergency contact: add or update it.
Pay to secure your spot
Click Make a Payment, choose your membership, and pay by credit or debit card.
