Customize your platform's Front Desk Settings

Updated this week

This section determines who is allowed to be checked in to the front desk and make reservations. There are seasonal members who may not be allowed in until August or Waitlist, etc. You want to decide who the front desk can admit and check those:

1. Front Desk Settings tab

Choose which fields to use when looking up accounts at Check-in: Barcode, Last Name, Account #, Legacy Acct # or Address. These are static choices, and more than one can be selected.

If using Barcodes, choose whether to use Member Splash generated codes or custom codes: Member Splash codes, Custom Codes

NOTE: Custom codes can only be used during initial import during Onboarding.

Choose which account types are allowed to Check-in: Only selected account types will be included in check in search results. If none are selected, then all account types will be included. This list is dynamic based on the account types created in your system.

NOTE: If you have seasonal members, be sure to set a reminder to revisit this setting so they can be added at the appropriate time.

Exclude Unpaid: If checked unpaid accounts & members will not be included in the front desk search results.

NOTE: We recommend not enabling the “Exclude Unpaid” setting. When this setting is turned on, unpaid members will not appear in check-in screen search results, which may prevent staff from identifying them at the front desk.

If the setting is off, unpaid members will appear on the check-in screen, allowing front desk staff to see their unpaid status and inform them that access to the pool is restricted until payment is made.

Additionally, when this setting is enabled, unpaid members are also excluded from the Point of Sale > New Order screen. Only paid members will appear there.

Choose optional additional information to include in the check-in results: Legacy Account #, Check-In Note

2. ID Card Settings

If you choose to generate and print Barcodes or ID cards for members, this is where you set the club name that will appear on them.
