1. What Is a Splash Card?
You can create multiple cards with different names — like "Kids Card" or "Family Card" — and assign them to different members in your household. You manage all your cards online through your account. From there you can load funds, check balances, enable or disable cards, and move money between them.
New cards start disabled until you're ready to use them. Once enabled, a card is ready to use at the register.
2. Finding Your Splash Cards
Your Splash Cards are in the Splash Cards tab in your account dashboard. Click the Splash Cards tab at the top of the page — it's not nested under any other menu.
3. Your Cards at a Glance
When you open the Splash Cards page, you see a tile for each card you've created. Each tile shows:
Card name — the name you gave it (e.g., "Kids Card," "Family Card")
Linked members — the household members assigned to the card, shown below the card name
Status badge — a colored chip showing either Active (green) or Inactive (grey)
Current balance — the dollar amount available on the card, displayed in the center
If you're the account owner (primary or billing member), you also see action buttons at the bottom of each tile:
Enable Card (green) — appears when a card is disabled
Load Funds (blue) — appears when a card is active
For quick actions, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of any card tile. That menu lets you disable, re-enable, link members, transfer funds, and delete cards.
4. Enabling or Disabling a Card
Enabling a card: If a card is disabled, click the green Enable Card button at the bottom of the tile. You can also open the three-dot menu and select Re-enable Card.
If all your cards are disabled, an Enable All Cards button appears at the top of the page. Click it to enable all disabled cards at once.
Disabling a card: Open the three-dot menu on the card and select Disable Card. A confirmation box will appear asking "Disable Card?" Click Disable to confirm.
Important: A disabled card can't be used at the register, even if it has a balance. Linked members won't be able to make purchases until you re-enable it.
5. Creating a New Card
Click the New Card button at the top of the Splash Cards page. A dialog will open with two required fields:
Card Name — Enter a name for the card (e.g., "Kids Card," "Family Card," "Summer Card"). This helps you tell your cards apart.
Assign to member(s) — Choose one or more household members to link to this card. Type or click to pick from the dropdown. At least one member is required.
Once you've filled in both fields, the Create Card button becomes available. Click it to create the card.
Your new card starts disabled. Enable it before you use it at the register. After creation it appears in your cards list, where you can enable it, load funds, and manage it like any other card.
6. Loading Funds
To use your Splash Card at the pool, load funds onto it from a saved payment method.
Before you start: First, enable your new card. Then make sure you have at least one payment method saved to your account. If you don't have one on file, you'll be asked to add one.
Steps to Load Funds
From your account dashboard, select your Splash Card and click Load Funds
Choose your Payment Method from the dropdown (your default will be pre-selected if you have multiple)
Enter the Amount ($) you want to load
Review the terms and conditions, then check the box: I agree to the terms and conditions
Click Load Funds to finish
🪧Important Terms: When you load funds, these terms apply:
Your balance never expires. Loaded funds can be used for purchases at your club's point of sale. Check with your club for deta
ils.
Splash Card balances are non-refundable. Once loaded, funds can't be returned as cash or credited back to your payment method, so load only what you plan to use.
Tip: You can load any amount in increments of $0.01. Many members load $50–$100 at a time for convenience.
7. Transferring Funds Between Cards
If you have multiple Splash Cards, you can move funds from one to another. Transfers stay within your account and happen instantly.
Note: You can only transfer funds to other cards on your own account. You can't transfer to another member's card.
Steps to Transfer Funds
From your account dashboard, select the Splash Card with the funds you want to move
Click Transfer Funds
In the Transfer to dropdown, select the destination card
Enter the Amount ($) you want to transfer (the available balance is shown above)
Click Transfer to finish
Example: You have $50 on "Card 1" and $10 on "Card 2." After transferring $50 from Card 1, Card 1 has $0 and Card 2 has $60.
8. Viewing Your Transaction History
Your transaction history shows every action on your card — loads, purchases, transfers, and adjustments.
Finding Your History
Click the View Transactions button or link (the exact location may vary by club)
If you have multiple cards, use the Select Card dropdown to pick which card's history to view
The top of the page shows your card's name, current status, and current balance

9. Using Your Card at the Pool
To pay with your Splash Card at the register:
Tell the cashier you want to pay with your Splash Card
The cashier will select your card from the payment method dropdown (cards are listed by name, e.g., "Splash Card — Family Card")
Your card must be active and have enough funds to cover the purchase
If your card is disabled or the balance is too low, the cashier can't process the payment and will need to use a different payment method.
Note: Splash Cards can only be used by the account holder or linked family members. Guest and employee purchases can't be paid with a Splash Card.
10. FAQ
Can I have multiple Splash Cards?
Yes. Most accounts can create multiple cards. Each card has its own name, balance, and transaction history. You can transfer funds between your own cards anytime and manage all of them from the same account.
Who can load funds onto my card?
You can load funds from your own saved payment methods. Club staff can also add funds manually — these appear as "Funds Added by Club Staff" in your history. The billing member on the account controls all cards.
Can I use my Splash Card at the guest checkout?
No. Splash Cards are for member accounts only. Guests must use another payment method at checkout.
What happens if my balance is too low for a purchase?
The payment will be declined. You'll need to load more funds or use a different payment method to complete the purchase.
Can I transfer my card's funds to another member's card?
No. Transfers only work between your own cards on the same account. If you need to consolidate funds, transfer them to one of your other cards, or contact club staff for help.
Can I set up automatic reloading of my card?
This feature is coming in a future update. For now, you'll need to load funds manually when your balance gets low.
What happens if I disable my card while a transaction is in progress?
Disabling your card prevents future transactions. If a transaction is already being processed, it will either complete or be declined depending on timing. Check your transaction history to confirm. If you have questions about a specific transaction, contact your club.
How do I check my current balance?
Your balance is shown at the top of your transaction history and on each card tile in your main dashboard. It updates right after each transaction.
Can I get a refund if I load too much money?
No. Splash Card balances are non-refundable once loaded. Funds can't be returned as cash or credited back to your payment method. Load only what you plan to spend.
What if I lose my card or it gets damaged?
Contact your club's management for help. They can disable a lost card or arrange a replacement. Your funds are tied to the card, so you may need to transfer any remaining balance to a new card, staff can help with this.
Can I rename my card?
Yes (in most clubs). From your account dashboard, you can edit your card's name. For example, "Summer Card" or "Lap Lane Fund."
