How to Export User Data for Member Splash Welcome Emails

If an HOA want to use their own communication tool to introduce Member Splash, they can export user data to add into their own email.

Export usernames for a welcome email

Want to send your welcome email from your own email tool? Export each resident’s name, email, and username from Member Splash, then use the file for a mail merge.

💡 Tip: Your club already has a ready-made welcome email under Communications > Email Campaigns that fills in usernames for you, so you don’t need an export. See Introducing Member Splash to Your Members.

Choose who to include

  1. Go to Membership > Accounts.

  2. Click Manage Filters.

  3. Choose the Account Types you want to include.

  4. Set Show Closed Accounts to No.

  5. Click Apply.

Choose your columns

  1. Click Customize Columns.

  2. Turn on First Name, Last Name, Email, and Username. Add anything else you want in your email, like Address.

Export the list

  1. Check the box at the top of the list to select every account on the page.

  2. To include accounts on other pages too, click Select all [number] accounts.

  3. Click Export and choose CSV. CSV works with most email tools.

Open the file in your email tool and use each column as a merge field.

⚠️ The export doesn’t include passwords. In your email, tell residents to click Forgot password on your club’s login page to set their own password.
