Send your residents a welcome email with their login details so they can set up their accounts before the season starts. Your club already has a ready-made HOA welcome email in Member Mail, so most of the work is filling in your details.
Send your welcome email
Go to Communications > Email Campaigns and open your HOA welcome campaign.
Replace the placeholders with your club’s details: your contact email, your login page link, and your amenities.
Add each resident’s username with a merge tag. See Member Mail - Merge Tags.
Add the temporary password. You’ll find it in Settings > [verify location] or on your Credential Sheet.
Add the link to the resident guided tour. It walks residents through their first login and account setup.
If your club uses the mobile app, add your install link or QR code. See Member Splash Mobile App — Admin Setup Guide.
Send a test email to yourself, check it, then send it to your residents.
⚠️ Read the whole email before you send it. The template covers features some HOAs don’t use, like caregiver passes or reservations. Delete anything your club doesn’t offer.
Using Mailchimp or another email system? Use Mailchimp merge tags, or export your residents’ usernames and emails for a mail merge.
💡 Put your club’s contact info in the email. Member Splash Support helps club admins, so residents’ questions should come to you.
